Photographic History:
Born and raised in Hawaii, I've had life experiences unique to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Always creative in my ways in art or writing. I began my love for photos by using many, many disposable cameras before upgrading to a Digital Sony Mavica that used floppy disks in early 2003. The ease of using digital was great but the quality of the Mavica was poor, so I upgraded to a 5megapixel Sony DSCF-717 for 2004. The 717 was great for portraits and macros but poor for sports therefore I upgraded once again to a Canon 300D. The jump to a DSLR was great! I quickly outgrew the 300D felt the need to upgrade to the Canon 20D. The speed of the 20D allowed me to capture many more special moments that I was missing with previous cams. Today I'm shooting with a 40D :)

Location:
I live and work on the Windward (Eastern) side of Oahu. The communities of Kaneohe and Kailua are close to my heart, are my inspiration, and my most often photo subjects.

Beanshot.com
The name Beanshot was created on a spring break trip in 2001. Some leftover Pork & Beans were poured into a drinking glass and proclaimed a bean shot. The name made everyone laugh and has stuck with me till this day. I placed a picture from that trip at the bottom of the page. Please bear with my poor web design skills as I am still learning how to make web pages. I would like to thank Marc LaChance for helping where needed.
